The 2027 Gosling Waitlist can be found under my Shop. I put it there so you can view all the breeds I offer and read through my gosling and hatching egg disclaimers before deciding to join a waitlist for goslings or purchase hatching eggs — IF and WHEN I have any eggs available. My priority is hatching eggs, but I only have so much incubator space.
$50 PER EGG, MAX 6 EGGS
LIMIT ON HALF DOZEN PER PERSON/ORDER
Goslings: $150 each, straight run — minimum order of 2
Note: Hatching eggs will only be listed available after I have filled my incubators.
I instantly fell in love with this breed the moment I got my first goslings — they're friendly, curious, and every single bird has its own personality. They're known for their fluffy, flowing white feathers that curl and cascade almost like a shag carpet, giving them that unmistakable "cotton ball" look no other goose breed has. I currently have white, gray, and buff in my flock — but color can't be guaranteed at hatch, so consider it a fun surprise rather than a sure thing.
Conservation status: Threatened (The Livestock Conservancy)
Country of origin: Southeastern Europe, near the Black Sea
Year discovered: First exhibited in 1860 in England
Eggs laid per year: 25-35
Mating season: January - April, fluctuates year over year
Weight class: Medium weight — ganders 12-14 lbs, geese 10-12 lbs
Straight run — sex is not guaranteed. All Sebastopol goslings are sold straight run unless otherwise stated as auto-sexing. I do not guarantee sexes, and there is no guarantee of a certain male/female ratio in your order. Vent sexing is not safe for goslings, so if you want to know the sex of your gosling, I recommend DNA testing.
Color is not guaranteed. I've brought in a number of new geese in 2026, and I don't yet know what colors their offspring will produce. Color is not guaranteed on any Sebastopol order.

Meet Buttercup and Thistle — our resident Pomeranian pair, and honestly two of the sweetest, most talkative birds in the flock. They chat constantly and get along beautifully with the rest of our birds — but the second we put goslings in with them to grow out, that sweetness turns fiercely protective. They won't let anyone else in the flock bully "their" babies.
